Medical Assistant Program

The Medical Assisting diploma program prepares students for entry-level positions in both administrative and clinical health care environments. The Medical Assistant Courses are designed to prepare adult learners to meet the requirements for employment in medical offices, clinics, hospitals, and other health care environments requiring skills in medical office procedures and clinical assisting. The Medical Assistant program is intended for those applicants who desire a career in health services, either at the paraprofessional level, or for those who intend the program to be the first step to a career as a medical assistant and to be part of their educational master plan.
